WOW! Is exactly what your family will exclaim when they walk into this beautiful vacation home! Just across the street from the sand, WOW offers the best vacation amenities, from a newly-updated open kitchen and a dining area with plenty of seating for gathering to the gorgeous pool, state of the art new hot tub and a breezy back yard.  With seven bedrooms (two of which are master suites!) and 7.5 baths, 18 people can comfortably enjoy this home. Two Pack n' Plays and a highchair are offered to free up some valuable luggage space for the drive! Relax on one of the three(!) covered porches, including one that is screened and another that overlooks the pool area, and each of which  features comfortable outdoor furniture. There is another seating area near the hot tub, and a gas grill for those BBQ masters! All this adds up to one big WOW factor for your vacation!

Our sibling group (6 couples) spent a week at WOW. There was lots of room to gather and a very nice pool area. Many of us spent long periods relaxing on the back deck. The kitchen was adequately equipped and the short walk to the beach was convenient.

I’ve been to the Myrtle Beach area over 30 times going back to the 80’s, and I’ve never enjoyed my visit as much as I did when I stayed at WoW.Ken and Janet have an amazing place that is well kept, up-to-date, and in a perfect location. It’s the perfect spot for any families and friends who want a place to themselves (private pool and hot tub, 7BR, huge common area) and the beach across the street, but with minutes away access to all that Garden City, Murrell’s Inlet and Myrtle Beach have to offer!Ken and Janet are consummate hosts who treat you more like family than renters- you’ll feel like you’re at your home away from home for your whole stay at WoW. Book it today, but don’t take the week I want next summer!

Best family vacation in the 15 years we've been vacating in the MB area. Janet and Ken make you a part of their family and strive to provide one of the best accommodation's in the area. Toddler friendly, well stocked kitchen, spacious bathrooms off all 7 comfortable bedroom's, bonus 1/2 bath off the laundry/kitchen just in case. Close to the beach. Unanimous thumbs up when asked if we should rent next year.

My family and friends have been staying in the area 2-3 times a year for 20+ years and this by far has been the best house and experience. Ken and Janet make you feel part of their family. The house is very spacious, clean and supplied with everything you could possibly need.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at WOW. The entire house, the parking spaces, and the pool and porch areas were very clean and meticulously maintained. The house decor looked exactly like the pictures posted by Dunes. The murals were lovely and each room, to include the woodwork, looked freshly painted. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked, while the bedrooms were spacious, complete with comfortable beds. The home owners were very responsive to all of our needs and questions. I would readily recommend WOW to anyone heading to Garden City. Enjoy!

WOW is, by far, the best maintained beach house our family has ever visited. We have stayed at WOW the last four years and it never disappoints. You can tell from the moment you arrive, the owner takes extreme care to keep the home in excellent condition. The home is very spacious and very well appointed with all the amenities you will need for a great family vacation. The private pool is a perfect size and space for those days you do not want to just lay on the beach. Also, the covered hot tub underneath the home is perfectly located to relax on those (few) rainy days.

WOW on Waccamaw was an easy 8.3-mile drive from the Myrtle Beach airport. We took note of food stores and eateries as we drove to WOW. (There were at least three chains to purchase groceries. There are a plethora of eateries in the WOW area both on and near the beach, on Route 17 and in nearby areas like The Merchant Commons.) Upon arrival at WOW we noted ample parking for vehicles. We loved the beachy deep blue façade and the crisp white trim on this beautiful two-story home. We immediately noted the close proximity of the house to the beach (a 30 second walk). We enjoyed the porches on the house, front and back. We sat on the front porch to view fireworks and people watch. We utilized the back porch for morning coffee, reading, and lunch. The back screened porch area was great for morning conversation in pjs. The fully fenced backyard was perfect for yard games and when the sun was warm in the afternoon there was shade where we could pull the lawn chairs to the grass when we had maxed out our sun time. The pool is PERFECT!!! (We did not see any pools that were as large or nice.) We utilized the hot tub on a couple of occasions, used the outdoor shower all the time, and used the clothesline for drying wet swimsuits and towels. We did not use the grill as we ate out every night. BUT we hope to return next year as we loved and enjoyed this home and all it had to offer our group. Maybe we will use the grill on the next trip.The inside of WOW was perfect for us. The interior front steps were extra wide and carpeted. The width helped when carrying luggage up and down and the carpet runner kept things quiet when using steps while others were sleeping. Both the first and second floors had a king bed primary suite with huge attached baths and double vanities with an expansive amount of counter space. Two rooms upstairs had two queen beds with a private bath. And the remaining three bedrooms had a queen bed and private bath. All of the bedrooms were spacious and not crowded. Each bedroom had lamps, ceiling fans, dressers, closets, and flat screen TVs. The bedrooms had nice carpet while the baths were tiled.The common area of WOW was large. There was plenty of indoor seating for dining (20 seats total including four at the kitchen bar). All small appliances were supplied as were plates and bowls, pots and pans, baking sheets, cutting boards, glasses, cups, knives for food prep, measuring cups, etc. I do not think this kitchen is missing anything but the cook(s). There is a pantry area with a washer and dryer and also a half bath that is very convenient so no one has to use the more private bedroom en suite baths. The pictures of the home on the website are nice but we all felt the home was even better in person. The hand painted walls and theming throughout the home is so well done. The house is light and airy. The owners of WOW are very personable and welcoming. They communicated to us that we need not hesitate to call if we needed something-anything. We enjoyed the personal touch of the homemade melt-in-your mouth chocolate chip cookies that were delivered to us by the owners. We had no complaints or concerns during our stay other than time flew and the week was too short!! We were not disappointed in any way with our choice of Wow on Waccamaw. We are planning to return next year!! WOW was perfect!!! The area was perfect. The owners are the best!!! Thank you, Ken, Janet, and boys.

The house is incredible: the beautiful murals, the size of all the rooms, the comfortable furniture, the well-appointed kitchen, the gorgeous pool and the fun hot tub! The location is perfect - soooo close to the beach, and so many great restaurants to choose from as well. Truly made our vacation feel like a week in paradise. We love Wow on Waccamaw!

Happened to arrive early and pulled into the driveway. Was greeted by Ken who along with his wife Mimi are the owners. Could not have been more sociable and accommodating. We had 17 people staying there. The first thing you notice is how well maintained and spotless the rental is and the obvious pride Ken and Mimi in what is the most outstanding place in the area. The pool is very large and the hot tub is sure to please. Other fantastic attributes to the house are every bedroom has its own bath. The kitchen is well stocked and pool and beach accessories are provided. Mimi brought chocolate chip cookies for us which were a big hit. This was our first time staying here but can see why most of their patrons are repeat vacationers. Will definitely try to return. Five Stars are not enough to rate WOW on the Waccamaw!!

This one will not disappoint! This immaculate and well-maintained inside and out rental has something for everyone! Our family hasn't stopped talking about it! The 7 amazing bedrooms, each with its own private bath, generous amount of tools for the kitchen, and multiple dining areas sets the tone inside. The outside fun includes the refreshing and clean pool and hot tub besides being just steps away from the beach! Toys for extended fun are provided for inside and outside activities for young and old. We have already booked our week for next year! What are you waiting for?!

Our 5th time staying at Wow. I can not say enough great words about the house and owners. It is basically your own private hotel for you and your family. Everything you need is there and then some. The house is very lovely cared for and just had beach themed art work painted in different areas of the home and pool area. There is a mini mart just across the street for last minute items and ice. Several great places to eat are just a quick golf cart ride away and 2 grocery stores. Krogers will also bring the groceries right to the front door for you. Hope this was helpful, the will not be disappointed.

Amazing and spacious home! The beach is right across the street and only minutes away from grocery stores and restaurants. The house is very spacious for a large family and the kitchen is equipped with anything one needs. The pool is amazing and larger than any other pool I’ve seen in the neighborhood! I would highly recommend staying at WOW!

"Wow" has a great vacation feel to it. You are right by the ocean, have a huge lot for parking, hot tub and a private pool that is perfect to relax in. My family loves spending our vacation in Garden City at such a well kept house. We plan on spending many more vacations at Wow and the owner was extremely helpful with any extra needs. I give Wow 5 stars and highly recommend it.

The beach house was absolutely gorgeous! It was well maintained, clean, organized and our family loved the beach atmosphere. We also loved the convenience of the pool and being close to the ocean. We are definitely going to book another vacation in the future!

We have stayed in Wow for the last few years and have always enjoyed our stay. This year we arrived to new decor with mural's on the walls and also on the back section of the pool fence. The house is perfect for our extended family with each couple having their on bedroom. We are very impressed with the owners (Ken and Janet) desire to make sure the guests have everything they need and have a pleasant stay at the beach. We have stayed at several houses in this area during the last 20 yrs and this is by far the best property. We would definitely recommend this property to someone who needs a big house, pool and easy beach access.

'We spent a week at Wow on Waccamaw in early August and loved this property. The house is huge and had plenty of room for everyone. The back porch is enjoyable at anytime but great in the morning with the breeze blowing. The pool is one of the nicest in the area and just a short walk across the street to the beach access. You can walk to the peer and there is a Kroger and Walmart just a short drive away. You can been to the Grand Strand in about 20 minutes or 10 minutes to Murrell's Inlet and lots of restaurants. I will also mention that booking the house and dealing with Dunes Realty was very easy and the management was very friendly. '

'I have stayed multiple times in myrtle beach with all my family and have to say this house was the best, the house is gorgeous and huge and love that all bedrooms had their own bath. The pool was the nicest as well. We also had a hot tub that no other house I stayed at had which was a plus. The beach is across the street and a new mini mart. Ken the owner of the house stopped by with his wife and kids bringing us freshly baked cookies and they were awesome,I would definitely recommend this house!!'

'WOW! We stayed here for a family vacation. There were twenty of us ranging in age from 3 to 60. This house is immaculate and very, very well kept. The owners are amazing as well, they welcomed us with a case of water and were quick to respond when we had an issue. The house has everything you could possibly need, from two keurigs to popsicle makers, both of which were a huge hit! There were even toys, books, puzzles that thankfully kept the active 3year old well entertained! The pool is wonderful, we could not get the kids out of it, nor the adults out of the hot tub! The beach is right across the street, so convenient! We will definitely stay here again! Thank you to the owners for a fantastic vacation!'

'WOW is great name for this rental! You can see and feel that the owners have put a lot of thought and time into this place. They even welcomed us by placing a case of water in the fridge. You can’t bring the whole house on vacation, and it was great to even have some extra toys for my grandsons to play with. Love the fact that everyone feels they have their own space and bathroom to get ready. Definitely will rent again!'

'Spent this years vacation at WOW and had a blast. We were able to spend a week with friends and family comfortably due to how spacious the home was. Bathrooms in every room allowing everyone to shower without a wait. Beds are comfortable. Private pool, which the kids loved. Hot tub. Had a blast. Already booked for next year with WOW.'
