"Southern Star" is your family vacation destination in Surfside Beach, SC. Located on the ocean front just south of the central "downtown" area (which includes the soon-to-be remodeled Surfside Beach Pier!) Walk to ice cream, restaurants and sundries. Relax in the shade of your covered porch or sunbathe on the deck while listening to the waves crash on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean coastline. TVs in every bedroom. A walkway with shower. Two bedrooms with king beds (one with a private bath), a bedroom with 1 queen and 1 double and lastly a downstairs bedroom with 1 queen and 1 single. Sleeping for 13! Get the family together for a stay at 'Southern Star'!

Overall

We enjoyed our stay at Southern Star. The bedrooms all have queen or king beds (with smaller beds in 2 rooms) so everyone enjoyed a roomy sleep time. The living room has plenty of comfy seating and the kitchen table seats 8 so no problem with everyone eating at once. The kitchen is small-ish, but has what you need - well, except for sharp knives. I recommend you sharpen the knives for next year! The porch is roomy and has a nice covered area in case it's raining and you want to sit out and watch the storm pass. We will definitely stay again if we have the same number of people joining us.
