The house sleeps from 2 to 16, great for immediate family, extended family or family reunion. Direct access to the beach from oceanfront deck, 3 blocks north of Garden City Pier. NO SMOKING OR PETS ALLOWED.

We booked this house for our family and friends to stay for the week for our Garden City wedding on 7/18/23 and we were so happy staying here! Our wedding was on the sand directly in front of the walkout deck, less than 25 people but so beautiful. The home provided a nice space for our guests to have cocktails and snacks while we had our photos taken, and as a residence for the week for us and our closest friends, family, and parents, it was a nice space with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space plus get together on the decks and in the common areas for fun, sun and food. Highly recommended Just for Fun! A gorgeous home with many very nice amenities and a true home feeling just steps away from GC Pier and nightlife!

Great home for large gatherings

2024 will be our 4th year of renting Just for Fun for a week of family reunion fun! The house is perfect for us. We love the large gathering kitchen and the front porch. If the owners read the reviews, please bring back the downstairs refrigerator. It is much needed for a house that sleeps 16 people.

This is a great house for a bigger group or family. There's plenty of seating and two decks for lounging on. The main oceanside deck is large and has several chairs, and there's a lower area where you can get out of the sun but still see the dunes and hear the ocean.The kitchen is huge, and there are plenty of pots and pans of all sizes, several blenders and crock pots, and several coffee makers. There are even two stoves for those large family meals.The bedrooms are large and comfortable, with a small sitting room off the master bedroom. Bedrooms on the main floor have a vanity with sink, so you can brush your teeth and shave without taking up the shared bathroom space. The shared bathrooms are no trouble - you just close the connecting door if it's in use.The only thing we found that might be irritating is that the bathroom on the lower floors is not accessible from one bedroom - you have to go through the second bedroom to get to it, which can be a problem in the middle of the night.One thing to keep in mind - the public access path is immediately beside the house, so don't leave anything downstairs where someone might walk off with it, and be sure to lock up any time you're not in the rooms.Definitely looking into this place again next vacation!'
