Overall

We certainly enjoyed our week at Great Escape II in July. The house size and beach location were perfect for our family. The dock was thoroughly enjoyed for both early morning and sunset fishing! The staff at Dunes was so gracious and accommodating. A few maintenance issues with the house arose during our stay and they were handled efficiently and quickly by the staff. The house does need a very thorough deep cleaning, especially bathroom tiles and all kitchen and bathroom cabinets need to be painted as they are badly chipped and tend to hold debris. While we understand difficulty to accomplish these major tasks during busy summer rentals, I feel certain basic cleaning to remove crumbs and dried food from drawers and cabinets need to be addressed to deter pests. Also, pots and pans need to be replaced. They have passed their prime. All in all, we loved our time at this house and look forward to returning next year. Highly recommend Dunes Vacation Rentals!
