What to Expect from a South Strand Vacation Rental
When booking a Garden City Beach or Surfside Beach vacation rental with Dunes Realty, you’ll have the opportunity during the reservation process to choose whether or not you want to have our linen service included. Properties are equipped with pillows, bedspreads, mattress pads, and some blankets. Our Beach Bundle complete linen package is included on all reservations, but it is optional and may be declined at the time of booking should you elect to bring your own linens. Alternatively, bed and bath linens may be rented individually through our Guest Portal or by calling our office. Further information can be found on the Linen section of our Rental Policies page. With provided linens, all you need to pack is a suitcase with your usual vacation packing list, if you bring your own you'll need some extra space in the car but either way don’t forget a swimsuit, hat, and sunscreen!
Once your arrival date is here, check-in is at 4:00 PM. Currently, over 100 of our properties offer keyless entry meaning a seamless check-in process without visiting our office. For other properties, physical keys are available to be picked up at the Dunes Realty Office. Check-out time is 10:00 AM and while we handle the heavy lifting, we only ask our guests to perform a few small tasks before departure including stripping the linens off the beds, emptying the refrigerator and trash cans, and starting the dishwasher.
During your stay, you can make use of Dunes Realty’s concierge services such as the use of a copier, fax machine, and WiFi at the main office (although most rentals do come equipped with WiFi).
